Navel oranges are laden with juice and eat nicely. Before juicing oranges grate the zest or peel oranges. Store in the freezer in a plastic bag or airtight container, so if you need an orange rind to flavouring a cake, muffins or dessert you will have some at hand. It sure beats wasting it.

The fruit itself is of excellent quality, being huge, sweet, and juicy, with no seeds. If you have the room in your yard and want to enjoy oranges for most of the year, it would be a perfect addition to grow alongside Navelina and Washington Navel, which ripen early.
